Customer Service - Delivery and Shipping


Lead Times

To calculate when you will receive an item, you need to consider the manufacturing time required for the items you are ordering as well as the shipping time. If your order includes several items with different production times, you should consider the longest production time in your order.

For example, chairs and backwashes on our site show 2 weeks production time. Consider an average shipping time for U.S. and Canada shipments 15 to 40 business days, depending on where you live. This means your total delivery time will be 2 weeks (manufacturing) + 15 to 40 days (shipping time). So you can expect to receive this item at your front door about 4 to 10 weeks after you place your order.

For air freight delivery please email us at orders@beautydesign.com for more details (remember to include your address and the items you'd like to order). The price for air freight deliveries can range from 10 to 25 % or more than standard seafreight shipping, depending on destination and volume / weight of the goods. Delivery times range from 7 to 15 business days, depending on where you live.

For orders outside U.S. and Canada please email us at orders@beautydesign.com for an exact shipping quote in U.S. dollars at the lowest possible cost to you (remember to include your address and the items you'd like to order).

Orders delivered outside U.S. are shipped DDU unless otherwise specified (Duty Delivery Unpaid) from our factory to your door - Free on Truck - unloading and unpacking not included. If unloading from truck, liftgate, inside delivery or packing material removal is necessary, these extra services must be required before delivery to the trucking company and will be at additional cost. If you ask for these additional services at the time of the order we'll be glad to send you a detailed quotation. In case the forwarders won't be able to provide a delivery service to door, the delivery will be done CIF (Cost Insurance and Freight) to the closest port.

All sales to countries outside United States do not include import taxes, fees and duties. If you are buying from a country other than U.S. please inform yourself at your local import office or customs to know all applicable taxes and duties.

Some furniture items / destinations (for example deliveries outside the contiguous 48 U.S. States) require additional time and costs for delivery. You will be promptly notified by email should this apply to your order. You order will not be processed until your confirmation.

Delivery

We will deliver your boxed furniture to your door (you'll need to unload and unpack the goods and dispose of packing materials, and note any and all problems with your merchandise, a claim to the forwarding agent should be placed in order to receive compensation. If you are not able to check the content of the crates or boxes, make sure to sign the delivery bill "with reserve" stating that possible remarks may be done later after your duly check, otherwise it won't be possible for us to help you file the insurance claim of damaged goods).

When ordering be sure to include your full street address, with apartment number if applicable, and daytime phone number. The delivery agents will call you and schedule a delivery time. Standard delivery is not available to Post Office boxes.

Please note that delays due to unexpected events in manufacturing, shipping or customs operations may occur. The customer will not be entitled to damages of any kind. We strongly recommend to plan for grand openings only after receiving your goods.

Delivery Terms

Customers shall notify us within 15 days after receipt of product, of any shipment shortages, damaged goods or defects. Failure to do so will constitute conclusive proof that the products were received without error, fault, or damage.

Any delivery dates specified in the order will be deemed to be estimates only. Under no circumstances shall GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. have any liability whatsoever for loss of use or for any direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from delay regardless or the reason(s). By placing an order, the customer agrees that the time of delivery of the products is not of the essence, and waives any and all claims arising from any delay in delivery, including without limitation, any claims for direct, incidental, consequential or other damages. GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. shall not be liable for any delay in delivery or failure to deliver due to any cause beyond GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. control, including but not limited to; fires, floods, strikes, labor disputes, accidents to machinery, availability of materials, acts of war, terrorist attacks, sabotage, riots, laws, statutes, ordinances, rules or regulations, restrictions imposed by any governmental authority, delay in transportation or lack of transportation facilities. GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. are not responsible for the non-execution irregularity or delayed deliveries affected by the cause of force majeure as well as in the event of modifications made by the customer. In any of these cases the customer will not be entitled to damages of any kind.

For all undeliverable address packages that return to us or in the event the purchaser refuses to accept goods ordered, these orders are subject to a 50% minimum restocking fee plus any storage and freight charges incurred. Items that require a color selection or special custom products are subject to 100% restocking fee plus any storage and freight charges incurred.

The goods remain property of the GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. until payment is fully made. GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. may cancel or delay delivery of products in the event of an arrearage in the customer's account. If the customer has a balance we recommend to send it a few days before the manufacturing is expected to be completed. Delays in the receipt of the balance will delay the shipment, and storage fees will be applied starting 7 days after goods are ready for delivery ($ 0.25/sq ft a month, on a daily basis). In the event the customer shall default in their obligation to pay an outstanding balance the customer shall be liable for the costs of cancellation, attorney's fees, disbursements, court costs, late charges, freight charges incurred and storage fees and any other charges relating to the order.

Insurance and Damages

Risk of loss or damage to the products pass to the customer upon delivery of the products to a common carrier. Any shipping arrangements made with carriers or forwarding agents shall be made solely on the customer's behalf and at the customer's sole cost and risk. Shipping damage and lost shipments are not the responsibility of GAMMA & BROSS SpA and GAMMA & BROSS USA INC.. We will assist customers in recovery of lost goods or damage if it occurs. Customer is responsible for all shipping expenses associated with a customer refused delivery of product.

Goods are always insured against possible damages that may occur during the shipping. Even though GAMMA & BROSS SpA or GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. are not responsible for the shipping and the damages, you can contact us to receive help in filing your claim. The customer is responsible for checking that the boxes are in good conditions before signing the delivery bill. The customer should inspect the content of the boxes to make sure thare are no damages to the items. Notify us and the shipping company within 15 days of any shipment shortages, damages or defects. Failure to do so constitutes conclusive proof that the products were received without fault.

If you find damage, save all packaging materials for inspection. Do not sign a free and clear delivery receipt if damage to the packaging indicates potential damage to the product. If it is not possible to check the items at the time of delivery, the customer must accept the goods with reserve writing on the delivery bill that possible remarks could be done later, after your duly check of goods conditions. In any case, the customer must inspect the goods and noting and informing us of any damages within 15 days from the receipt of the goods. Without the remarks on the delivery bill or after 15 days from the receipt of the goods without any notice of damaged goods it will be not possible to file the claim, and the customer will incurr in additional costs for replacements and freight charges.

In case of damages, please note any remarks on the delivery bill and get immediately in contact with us, no later than 7 days from receipt. Please send us an email with attached pictures and detailed description of the damages.

Goods must be kept until the claim is solved for possible Insurance survey. In order to file the claim we need to receive: delivery bill with description of the damages or your reserves that remarks could be done after inspecting the goods (within 7 days from receipt), Insurance Certificate, Claim Letter with the order information and the description of the damages occurred, pictures of the packing and of the damaged products. GAMMA & BROSS SpA and GAMMA & BROSS USA INC. will do their best to help customers in getting their damaged goods repaired, replaced or restored to full functionality as soon as possible and reduce customer inconvenience. Rush fees, expedited shipping costs, and custom charges are not refundable. Please contact us to discuss costs involved.
